Terms of Use
Terms covering the Re:Re:vise study app and Pro features
Effective: November 1, 2026
These terms are prepared ahead of launch. They will be reviewed before release against the final app behavior, launch countries, and applicable laws. The app license obtained through the App Store is generally governed by Apple's Standard EULA. This page provides additional information about operation of the Re:Re:vise service; it is not a replacement for Apple's app license.
1. Provider and scope
Re:Re:vise is a study and review planning app provided by an independent developer. Contact rerevise.support@gmail.com. Apple's terms and other providers' terms also govern their respective App Store, iCloud, purchase, and refund services.
2. Eligibility
The initial service is intended for people aged 13 and over, subject to the applicable age limits and any parent or guardian consent requirements in the user's country or region. Users must comply with applicable law and App Store rules. A separate Re:Re:vise account is generally not required.
3. What the service provides
The app uses review items, available study time, and self-assessments entered by users to recommend review schedules and display study history. Suggested review dates and study workloads are estimates. We do not guarantee improved grades, learning outcomes, or exam success.
Features and limits differ between Free and Pro. The current terms and features are described in the app and purchase interface, and may be reasonably updated.
4. Optional seven-day Pro trial
The seven-day Pro trial is explicitly started by the user and is separate from Apple's paid auto-renewing subscription. Merely starting the trial does not collect payment details, create a paid subscription, or cause an automatic charge at the end. Eligibility and use limits are shown in the app before the trial begins. If the user does not separately purchase Pro, the app returns to Free rules after the trial ends.
5. Paid Pro subscriptions
- Monthly and annual Pro subscriptions are auto-renewing purchases billed through Apple's in-app purchase system and are separate from the no-auto-charge trial.
- Before purchase, users can review the actual localized price, duration, included features, and renewal conditions. Prices vary by region. A paid subscription starts only after the user confirms the purchase with Apple.
- To stop renewal, use iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions before the renewal date. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.
- Restore Purchases is available from the app's plan management functionality. Refunds, cancellations, grace periods, and changes to access rights are governed by the subscription status reported by Apple and applicable law.
- Following cancellation, Pro access generally remains available until the paid subscription's expiration date, subject to Apple's entitlement status.

6. Study data and backups
Study data is primarily stored locally on the device. Even where iCloud or manual backup options are offered, successful recovery from accidental deletion, device failure, storage shortages, or service interruption cannot be guaranteed. Review backup status before uninstalling or changing devices. Older exports or backups may retain copies after permanent deletion in the active app.
7. Acceptable use
Users remain responsible for the study material they enter and for respecting others' rights. Misuse that violates law, infringes rights, undermines security, or interferes with subscriptions or advertising systems is prohibited, except to the extent a restriction is not permitted by law.
8. Intellectual property
The software, branding, and design belong to the developer or their lawful owners. These terms do not transfer ownership of user-authored study materials to the developer.
9. Service changes and limitations
Features may need to change or become temporarily unavailable for security, quality, maintenance, or legal reasons. We aim to provide appropriate notice of significant changes. The service supports educational planning but does not guarantee results. Any limitation of responsibility applies only to the extent permitted by law and does not override mandatory consumer rights.
10. Privacy
See the Privacy Policy for information about data storage, external services, advertising, and optional analytics.
11. Changes and contact
Updates will be announced on the website or in the app as appropriate. Where law requires notification or consent, those requirements will be followed. Contact rerevise.support@gmail.com for questions. Japanese law is the starting point for interpretation, without overriding mandatory consumer protection or jurisdictional rights in users' countries of residence.
